Cookie policy

This site sets no cookies of its own. Analytics only load if you accept them. Here is everything it stores.

The short version

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site sets none of its own. If you accept, Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel load and set theirs. If you decline, or don't choose, neither loads.

We do keep one small note in your browser's session storage while you visit: which page you landed on, which site sent you, and any ad campaign tags in the link. It only leaves your browser if you send us a form, and it is deleted when you close the tab.

The booking calendar on our book a call page is run by Calendly, which sets its own cookies and shows its own notice so you can accept or decline the optional ones. If you would rather not use it, email us and we'll find a time.

Everything the site uses

WhoCookies
Soarx (this site)One item in local storage, not a cookieRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask again on every page.
Soarx, visit sourceOne item in session storage, not a cookieRemembers the page you landed on, the site that sent you and any ad campaign tags, so a form you send tells us where you found us. Your browser deletes it when you close the tab.
CalendlyCalendly's own cookiesOnly on pages with the booking calendar. Calendly shows its own cookie notice, where you can accept or decline its optional cookies.
Google Analytics_ga and _ga_*, kept up to 2 yearsOnly if you accept. Counts visits and shows which pages people read, so we know what is useful.
Meta Pixel_fbp, kept up to 3 monthsOnly if you accept. Tells us whether people who saw our Facebook or Instagram ads went on to send an enquiry.

Calendly

When you open a page with the booking calendar, your browser loads Calendly's calendar inside our page. Calendly may set cookies to make the booking work and keep it secure. What they set and why is in Calendly's privacy notice. If you would rather not load it, email info@soarxtax.com and we will find a time with you directly.

Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel

The first time you visit, a bar at the bottom of the page asks whether you accept them. Nothing loads until you accept, and declining doesn't change anything else on the site. If you accept, Google and Meta receive details of your visit, such as the pages you view and your approximate location, under Google's privacy policy and Meta's privacy policy.

Your current choice: not chosen yet.

Blocking or clearing cookies

Every browser lets you block cookies and site data or delete what is already stored, usually under settings, then privacy. Blocking them won't break this site, though the Calendly booking calendar may not load.
